Diaster at the galpharm (jun. till aug.)

I was welcomed into the galpharm with the challenge of turning huddersfield into a barclays premier league team, like in their treble winning days. but so far we have had a nightmare start.

Transfers:

Out:
Scott Arfield Southampton £140 k (unwanted and brought in more funds for transfers)
Gary Roberts Barnsley £160 k (despite being rivals, good fee, shame really he rejected watford who offered £190 k)
Antony Kay Burnley £200k (more funds)
Liam Ridehalgh (more wage funds)

In:
Brahim Hemdani Free (defensive midfielder and a cheap price)
Nick Blackman Blackburn £140 k (4 star potential striker)
Apostolos Vellios Everton Loan (4 1/2 star potential)
Chris wood west brom Loan (4 1/2 star potential)
James beattie Free (couldn’t pass up this. 2nd best striker after Rhodes)
Ryan Dickson Southampton £150 k (rotation with much older naysmith)
Josh Wright Free (back up midfielder)
Mustapha Dumbaya Doncaster £120 k (right back starter)
Matt Oakley Leicester £50 k (poor fitness, but at half price of normal price, i brought hime in for cover)
Sanchez Watt Arsenal Loan (good left midfield recommended by scouts)
Kamil Wiktorski Rangers Loan fee £1 k (defence cover)
Michael Woods Free (4 star potential, again in midfield)

My current wage budget is a poor -£2.13 k p/w. Going to have to sell in january to reduce debt.

Friendlies and League 1 debut.
Freindlies:
Reserves Lose 2-1
Tottenham reserves lose 6-0
Derby draw 2-2 (from 2-0 down)
Brechin win 1-3
Plymouth lose 1-0
watford lose 4-0
Forfar win 0-3

so after 2 wins, 1 draw and 4 defeats, I am not looking very good at begining of reign.

League 1:
Rochdale away Lose 3-2 socrers: Beattie 43 and Wright 70
League Cup 1st round Crewe home win 5-2 Scorers: Beattie 14, 20, 23, 73 (MOM 9.90 rating) and Wood 30
Sheff. Utd home lose 1-3 scorer: Beattie 27
Sheff. Wed away draw 2-2 scorers Beattie 56 and Novak 73
Colchester home lose 0-2
League cup 2nd round Blackpool lose 4-0
Walsall away draw 2-2 scorer: Novak 25, 41
Johnstones Paint Trophy North !st round
Burton Albion Away 3-3 full time, 4-3 penalty win

So, we are currently bottom but an inspiring team meeting where Peter Clarke gave an inspirational speech, may give a turn around in form.
