Last season had to be a fluke surely. 3rd Place and Champions league football. And after some new and improved signings I said that we could challenge for the title. Are we being to ambitious?
August 2015:
Only managed the one win. We got completely destroyed by Man. City, and could only draw with Stoke. The win against Cardiff was poor and undeserved.
September 2015:
What a month!!! We went unbeaten, drew with Milan and beat PSG to go top on goal difference of Milan. We also won our three league games, and knocked West Ham United out of the capital one cup.
Only just missed out on the manager of the month by goal differences.
October 2015:
Unbeaten again. Our league form wasn’t as good as last month starting with two draws, but two second half goals beat Ajax to keep top of the Group, and Benteke’s four goals beat Gillingham.
November 2015:
£9 million extra money. Brilliant. Spent it on a new centre back. I will reveal that in the next post.
Another quality month. We thrashed Ajax, kept ourselves from losing to both Man. United (finally) and Ac Milan (Again) and went three up to Liverpool and they almost stopped us winning that one.

December 2015:
Unbeaten for a FOURTH month. The West Ham game was another one of those classic games, we stayed unbeaten against PSG to win the group.

I thought to myself that Nigeria might be a threat to my Cote d’ivoire qualifying, for the 2017 African cup of nations. Well…..
They don’t appear to be that much of a problem. I have yet to lose as manager of the ivorians, and with a mass of experienced internationals as staff, I think we can ease through the group. The England fixture was just set up, as why not? we don’t have any fixtures till next year why not?
We are two points clear, with a game in hand. I think that this group is ours to lose now, so hopefully we won’t fail.
As for my staff, I added so experienced internationals (as I said) and two trusted Burnley staff.
Assistant Manager: Didier Drogba (Who else but an Ivorian to assist me)
Coaches: Otto Addo, Nwanko Kanu, Billy Mercer and Goalkeeping coach Laurent Spinosi.
Otto had 15 caps for Ghana, Kanu is an ex player for Inter, Ajax, Arsenal, West Brom and Portsmouth, amassing 87 caps for nigeria, Billy is a key coach for Burnley as well, and Laurent is uncapped but a goalkeeping coach for ligue 1 runners up marseille.
Physios: David Louhoungou, Issa N’doye and Tsholola Tshinyama.
David has 5 caps for Congo, Issa has one cap for senegal and Tsholola has 36 caps for DR Congo.
Meanwhile my under 20′s assistant is none other than 124 cap Ivorian defender Kolo Toure, who had retired at the end of last season after two years with Valencia.

Alex Pearce was a phenominal defender, and deserves this award.
Not much, but I did spend a lot on one particular player.
Arsene wenger has retired to be replaced by Antonio Conte.
Tournemounts:
Standard again win the belgian pro league. Anderlecht are off pace in fourth.
PSG win the title again but not by 20 points as in last season. Montpellier have fallen since there title win, as have Bordeaux and Lyon. Toulouse pull of a good season in 5th.
Bayern win back their title from Schalke winning ahead of leverkusen by 14 points. Freiburg are not as good as they are in real life, while ex-giants stuttgart and hamburg both have fallen from grace.
Juventus win their 4th succesive serie A title, beating of Inter Milan by 12 points. Napoli continue to be terrible, with Hamsik, Lavezzi and Cavani have all left the club.
Celtic win their last title before Rangers return, their fourth in a row. Ross County fail to stay in this division 12 points adrift. Celtic ended up 19 points ahead of Hearts, and I look forward to the returning of the Old Firm Derby.
Real Madrid win the title from Barcelona, and added the champions league to that. Atletico Madrid fail again to get Champions league football and have sacked Jurgen Klopp. Villareal return to the champions league.
Real Madrid win the champions league for a TENTH time. Spanish clubs have won 5 of the last 7 champions leagues with only Inter and Chelsea (before the game save started) have stopped spanish clubs (or Barcelona and Real Madrid). Celtic make the semi finals with players like Chamakh and Ji-Dong Won.
Nurnberg beat off Stoke and Getafe, before defeating the big names of PSG to pull off [...]
When I last posted Burnley had second place, and were looking odds on for a shock champions league qualification, or even title challenge. Did we keep that up, or did we horribly slide down the table and leave everyone to believe we didn’t have what it takes?
Jan 2015:A alright start to the month beating Brighton in the FA cup (meaning we face bury in round 4), and then making sure arsenal only got the one goal in the first leg of the semi final. A defeat to newcastle, soured our otherwise unbeaten month in the league, and Bury went home hammered in the FA cup. But the best result was in the second leg of the capital one cup semi final. At the emirates, we were sure favourites to go out. And we were, until Kaka scored in the 86th minute to keep us in this tie. In the 98th minute (extra time) Arsenal’s Andre Ayew was sent-off, and Macheda scored from the spot. Cue Kieran Trippier, to score three minutes from time to send us through to face: Man. Utd.
Signings:
A lot of these players where sent out on loan, and weren’t really going to play for my side anyway. Chris McCann left, as I gave David Edgar the captincy, he winged, I told him to shut up, and long story short, he chose Wigan over Celtic. Bad choice there Chris. Morgan went as there was no longer any need for Carlo’s dislodger, as he was dislodged by McGregor. Odemwingie and Osman where both released after the season end, as I needed wage budget money, and I didn’t need them, and there contracts where about to expire anyway.

If you are wondering what I mean by a Hull, well when they were promoted they were near the top before a dramatic fall and last day survival. Why then do I not want this to happen?
August 2014:
We thrashed Wigan 4-0, before holding Chelsea to make sure that we only lost 2-0. A win against both Tranmere and West Brom mean, we end the month in the third round of the capital one cup, and with 6 points to our name.
September 2014:
Two poor results would be followed by two important ones. Cardiff are beaten on penalties by a hard working Burnley, while Douglas Costa won’t want to remember this match, as his pass lead to Macheda scoring.
October 2014:
Good wins over Southampton and West Ham, were followed by a come back to remember. We were 1-0 down when in the 90th minute, Javi Garcia forces extra time, and then Macheda got us into the next round. YES!!!
Oh I will win this award…….Believe me.
November 2014:
These wins helped us to climb to…..1st place. Burnley, 1st place. Doesn’t get much better than that. But I should remember, Pride comes before fall…….
December 2014:
from 5 points ahead of Arsenal before those last three fixtures, to five points behind. We have to turn this back in to our favour, before it is too late.
We are performing way above my expectation of Europa League. Maybe I can emulate Saintsboy, and take Burnley to second. Or maybe, one step better?

I would love to know which idiot on my poll for: FIRST MANAGER TO GET SACKED put Roberto Mancini and Sir Alex Ferguson. Where is the logic in that. Roberto has won the FA cup and Premier League since joining City, While Sir Alex has won just about everything there is to win apart from the europa league. I can understand why someone put Andre Villas-Boas but the other two. ARE YOU KIDDING?
